This program is the newest of the currently existing non-surgical programs, based on the Methodological Recommendations “Method of electrokymographic biofeedback in complex conservative therapy for scoliosis of I-II degrees in adolescents.”
Scoliosis is a disease of the musculoskeletal system, the main symptom of which is the formation of spinal deformity, irreversible degenerative changes in the intervertebral discs, ligaments, and surrounding muscles. Severe forms of scoliosis lead to pronounced cosmetic defects in posture and dysfunction of the internal organs of the body. With scoliosis, in a child, due to curvature of the spine, an asymmetry of the trunk may occur and limbs may be shortened. It happens that from the curved side, the pelvic bones rise, the angle of its inclination changes. Severe curvature causes displacement of the vertebrae in the thoracic region, rotation of the vertebrae, opposite displacement. With scoliosis, the position of the head changes, the shoulder girdle shifts. On the side of the curvature, muscle tone increases, then they pinch the nerves. Symptoms of scoliosis in children include poor posture and flat feet. This, in turn, causes problems in the activity of internal organs, including digestion. Scoliosis manifests itself in lameness, other types of gait disorders, and causes back pain.
Scoliosis treatment is very important. An integrated approach to the treatment of scoliosis contributes to the correct formation of the spine, the absence of pain in a child during physical activity. It is logical to start the treatment of scoliosis by correcting the existing condition. At the same time, massage, physiotherapy exercises, physiotherapy are effective.

Three stages of electromyographic biofeedback treatment:
Stage I. Preparatory
– training in performing special exercises for the back under the control of the BFB;
– restoration of the correct muscle tone.
Stage II. Main stage
– an increase in the strength of the back muscles;
– teaching the correct posture in the initial sitting and standing position.
Stage III. Final stage
– development of back muscle endurance.
