VVD (vegetovascular dystonia) is a disease of the autonomic nervous system, which regulates the work of blood vessels and internal organs of the body.

Vegetative-vascular dystonia disrupts the entire autonomic nervous system. As a result, the balance between the departments (sympathetic and parasympathetic) is disturbed and the internal organs begin to work incorrectly.

All types of VVD are characterized by acute sudden attacks – vegetative crises.

So, exacerbation of hypertensive type vegetative dystonia causes sudden excitement in a person. His heart rate increases, blood pressure rises, his legs grow cold, and chills occur.

With VVD of a hypotonic type, weakness, shortness of breath, nausea, sweating appears during an attack. A person’s heart stops and blood pressure drops.

With an exacerbation of the cardiac type of VVD, sharp, stabbing pain in the heart appears, the heart rate increases, and shortness of breath appears.

With vegetative-vascular dystonia of the mixed type, symptoms of different types of the disease appear.

Due to the VSD, chronic disease can be more severe. If the VVD is not treated, it can lead to coronary artery disease and hypertension, and subsequently to heart attack and stroke. In our Center for Computer Biofeedback of the DMC Clinic, we carry out not only a comprehensive functional examination of the whole organism – diagnosis of VVD but also the subsequent most modern and effective treatment.
