Breathing is life! We can live a long time without food, several days without drinking, but life without breathing is measured in minutes. Breathing is the most important of all bodily functions. But few people know that there is such a thing as correct and wrong breathing!

Correct breathing, what is it? Proper breathing is one of the most important processes in our body for maintaining health. Also, if you breathe correctly, the risk of diseases, including heart attacks, is reduced. In oriental cultures, great importance is attached to the correct breathing technique, and for good reason.

Improper breathing leads to the fact that less oxygen enters the lungs and, therefore, less oxygen enters the cells of our body. The respiratory center is located in the brain, or rather, in the medulla oblongata. It works automatically. Thanks to nerve impulses sent from the respiratory center, a person continues to breathe in sleep and even in an unconscious state. When we are nervous or frustrated, our breathing rhythm begins to thrash and speed up. When we are afraid, our breathing is delayed or slowed down. Grief, sadness, longing make us breathe in and breathe out weakly. Long periods of sadness can lead to conditions such as emphysema (a condition of the respiratory tract). When we are angry, the opposite happens: exhalation becomes stronger than inhalation, and chronic anger can lead to various forms of asthma.

The most direct route to both emotional and physical balance is to start breathing correctly.

Cardiorespiratory antistress training will help us with this.

In the health-improving training “Diaphragmatic-relaxation breathing” at the Computer Biocontrol Center of the DMC Clinic, a patented method of formation and training of correct, relaxing breathing is used, that is, the treatment of stress with the help of breathing.

Did you know that with the help of such breathing you can control the work of the heart and the entire internal autonomic nervous system, which in turn controls our body? And this means that having mastered correctly worked out breathing, you can successfully fight stress and such diseases as increased blood pressure in the initial stages, heart rhythm disturbances, and essential hypertension.

The patient learns to train correct breathing using our computer hardware-software complex, by converting bioelectric ECG data into sound and visual computer signals on the patient’s monitor screen.

During computer training, the patient SEES how his correct breathing begins to control the work of the heart: on inhalation, it beats more often and the column on the monitor screen rises, and on exhalation, the heart beats less often and the column drops. Sound feedback in the form of pleasant music confirms to the patient that it is HE HIMSELF who controls the correct work of his heart, and hence his health!

Such computer biocontrol of heart rate is used to relieve heart attacks, panic conditions, relieve anxiety and fear (for example, before public speaking).

Effects of anti-stress training of computer biofeedback of DMC clinic are:

– Anxiety reduction

– Increased stress resistance

– Improved attention

– Improving mental and mental performance

– Improved sleep

– Increased efficiency

– Rejuvenation of “biological age”

– Prevention and treatment of psychosomatic diseases.
